New Immunity Standard for Integrated circuits
IEC 62132-3 Ed. 1.0 Integrated circuits - Measurement of electromagnetic immunity, 150 kHz to 1 GHz - Part 3: Bulk current injection (BCI) method
This part of IEC 62132 describes a bulk current injection (BCI) test method to measure the immunity of integrated circuits (IC) in the presence of conducted RF disturbances, e.g. resulting from radiated RF disturbances. This method only applies to ICs that have off-board wire connections e.g. into a cable harness. This test method is used to inject RF current on one or a combination of wires. This standard establishes a common base for the evaluation of semiconductor devices to be applied in equipment used in environments that are subject to unwanted radio frequency electromagnetic signals.

New Electrical Safety Standard for high pressure cleaners and steam cleaners
IEC 60335-2-79 Ed. 2.2 (incl. Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-79: Particular requirements for high pressure cleaners and steam cleaners
Publication date: 2007-09-26
Deals with the safety of high pressure cleaners for household, industrial and commercial use having a pressure not less than 2,5 MPa and not more than 25 MPa and with an input to the drive for the high pressure pump not exceeding 10 kW, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. It also applies to industrial and commercial steam cleaners even if the pressure is less than 2,5 MPa. It is also applicable to appliances making use of other forms of energy for the motor, but it is necessary that their influence is taken into consideration.

New ATEX Standard for electrical apparatus and Ex components.
IEC 60079-0 Ed. 5.0 Explosive atmospheres - Part 0: Equipment - General requirements
Specifies the general requirements for construction, testing and marking of electrical apparatus and Ex components intended for use in explosive gas atmospheres. Electrical apparatus complying with this standard is intended for use in hazardous areas in which explosive gas atmospheres, caused by mixtures of air and gases, vapours or mists, exist under normal atmospheric conditions. The significant changes with respect to the previous edition are: Requirements for explosive dust atmospheres transferred from IEC 61241-0, The marking Group 'II' alone has been replaced by 'IIA', 'IIB', or 'IIC' as many of the enclosure requirements are now aligned with a specific sub-group, Dust groups defined as Group IIIA, IIIB and IIIC, Remainder of 'electrostatic' requirements transferred from IEC 60079-26 and Equipment protection levels (EPL) introduced.
